Spotlight: The Golden Perfection of Garlic Parmesan Wing Lollies
We've been giving our marinated Drum Lollies a lot of attention lately, so I, Nicole, wanted to give some love to our classic EZ WINGS Wing Lollies by sharing my favorite photo shoot I've done: Garlic Parmesan Wing Lollies. These photos are special to me because they are a redo of a failed photo shoot. Even when I was on my second try, I thought, "I can't do this. I don't know what I'm doing." It's easy to think that when you have good-looking, good-tasting food, the photos will take themselves. The truth is it can be hard to replicate in a photo what the human eye can see. When I was able to get to that point with these photos, I was overjoyed and didn't want to stop.
When I look at these photos now, I feel happy. They capture the golden perfection of deep-fried, classic Wing Lollies. All-natural and additive-free, classic EZ WINGS lollies can be customized with any sauce or seasoning. Seeing the parmesan garlic sauce clinging to the crispy chicken wing skin in these photos makes my mouth water.
*Tip: Add a parmesan crisp as a garnish, here, or as a layer in a sandwich for extra flavor and texture. Arrange grated parmesan in a lace-like pattern and bake for 3-5 minutes at 400° on a parchment lined baking sheet. I like to use my toaster oven for this to save time and electricity. Take the parmesan crisps out just as they start to turn golden. Similar to deep-frying, the golden color will continue to deepen after removal from the hot oven (or hot oil in the case of frying). The parmesan crisp in this photo shoot is not just pretty; it repeats the parmesan flavor of the sauce and the crispiness of the fried chicken wing skin to emphasize these great features of the main dish.
